OUR NUMBERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

$4,000,000+ The amount shared by CROP WALKS each year with local food banks, pantries, and community gardens.

2,000 Approximate number of communities around the country who will hold a CROP WALK this year, involving people of all faiths!

$935 Cost of a building kit - wooden beams, window frames, lintels, doors, nails, plastic, cement, and other materials for an Afghan family rebuilding their home in the wake of war.

$100 Cost of a shovel, pick, wheelbarrow, and 100 kg. of bean seeds for a Bolivian peasant farmer.

$20 Cost of a basic beehive for beekeeping in Kenya.

CROP WALKS  are ecumenical, interfaith community events. Un designated funds help support the worldwide programs of Church World Service (CWS).

In partnership, CWS supports self help development, meets emergency needs, and helps address the root causes of poverty and powerlessness. Sponsors may designate their gifts to other approved international hunger fighting agencies including but not limited to those listed here.

A major difference between CROP WALKS and other events, is that it is available designated purposes. Sponsors who wish to designate should write the number or name of the agency on the envelope in the designated column. Listed below in alphabetical orders are the current designated recipients:
